67 F100 2wd solid axle?

I recently bought an old f100 (67-69 still trying to figure out exact year model.) and have discovered a solid U-shaped front axle with leaf springs, I thought the twin I-Beams were all that was offered in these trucks? Anyone have any better info on this? Thanks!

'64 was the last year for F100 solid front axle & leaf spring suspension. Twin I Beam and coil springs in '65

Either it's a body swap or someone tried to make a gasser out of it. That's all i can think of. Pics! Pics! Pics!

No F100 2WD has a solid front axle w/leaf springs after 1964.

Twin-I-Beam introduced in 1965 F100/250 2WD & 1967 F350.
