2004 f350 trans codes
I have a 2004 F350 6.0 with the 5r100 auto.I took it to a trans shop to get the codes ran on it.It had 8 codes and all of them where about the shift solenoid a, b, and so on.The trans place said to replace all of them and that it would be about $500 to do it.My question is can i do it myself?Can you drop the pan and change them or would you have to go into the trans to get to them??Any info would be great. Thanks

So what do you suggest?? Is there a way i can look and see if there is a wiring problem?? Thanks

There is a way. Get a wiring diagram and VOM and start checking. If you don't know how to do it, this is probably a job worth paying a pro to do. It's a lot of work AND you really need someone that knows what they are doing or you'll just waste your time. It's not going to be cheap, either, if they do it right.
