Steering Shaft Question

I was hoping for a little guidance on this one. I recently did an upgrade on my GMC, replaceing the stock steering shaft with a Jeep XJ unit (U-joints on both ends) from a wrecking yard. It helped the feel a lot. I was wondering if there is a similar wrecking yard upgrade for Ford trucks? The shafts look similar between the GMC and the Ford. Stosh - would you have any idea with all the time you spend in the yards?

There is nothing wrong with the Ford design as long as the rag joint is in good shape.

There is nothing else to replace IMO. It's a straight shot to the steering box and no U Joint is needed.
