I own a 1995 F350, 4x4 with 7.5L engine. I have an E4OD. I think I have a Warner 1356 transfer case, where might I be able to find a good one. And are there any better upgraded versions of the transfer case while I have to replace it anyway?
I dont if you guys remember my old post, but when I had installed that rear shackle flip kit on the rear a few months ago, and had jammed the rear drivesahft so far in the slip yoke housing, that it damaged it pretty bad. The truck has a bad rumble because of it. So because I cannot find a new tail shaft housing anywhere, I figured I would just replace the whole thing. Sort of sucks though. The transfer case it self is in great shape, like you guys said they truly are indestructible. But it got damaged inadvertently.
You dont have any transmission shops around to help? We have a place that only sells transmission and transfercase parts. I had to buy a tailshaft housing for my father in laws jeep when his driveshaft let go and cracked it. What about a junkyard, my friend had to replace his BW1356 when the oil pump quit. It was only $40 if he pulled it himself.

A lot of the salvage shops around here dont want to sell me just their housings, and want me to buy their whole units. I guess it would be worth trying to get a tranny shop to look at it before spending $250 on a used one, and an hours labor installed
