Did you search at all? I just typed "hellwig" in the seach with the "seach titles only" feature in just the Excursion forum and got 51 results.
throw away the directions that come with it -- they are horrible and do a quick search. It's pretty straightforward install. Just remember not to fully tighten evrything up BEFORE you drop the truck back down...
If our new friend Wally wants to ask a question that has at least 51 posts associated with it, let him. I spent all day working in 105 degree heat and I'm still cheerful.
Wally,
Do you know how to use the search, or do you need a hand?
Do we hae a Hellwig sticky? Scottie, want to post one?

Nope. Don't know anything about it. Just know how to search to find what I need. I'll be searching for that very info soon enough. Roadmaster Active Suspension is first.
I just did the Hellwig install a month ago - it's pretty easy, the hardest part is getting your hands and tools in the tight space between the frame and chasis. It took me about 3 hours to install the Hellwig - but I generally waste a lot of time by not preparing in advance (gathering all necessary tools and of the right size). I discovered the other day that I lost one nut off of the u-bolt shock support. I had thought the nuts from Hellwig were locking nuts, but they are not. You may want to look in to locking nuts or 2 nuts (jamb nut).
The RAS was also pretty easy - here's a quick tip for that though... the lug wrench fits the U-Bolt nuts and works perfectly to give you the leverage to break those puppys loose. I think it took me about 4 hours to install the RAS. Make sure you have an adequet floor jack and stands. I did mine with a bottle jack on blocks and it was a a bit of a pain... but do'able. Once done, the stock U-Bolts are just long enough - I would suggest getting new, slightly longer ones while you're at it. Finally, the key to the RAS is proper pre-load, you have to remove the tires, place jack stands under the frame and drop the axle all way down, so it is only hanging by the leaf springs. This is where it is key to have the proper jack stands. I also suggest locktight on the u-bolt nuts.
One last tip - for both the Hellwig and RAS spray all of the nuts with WD40 the night before, the break loose much easier.
