well after a great trip my truck made it 200 miles, almost home i pulled in for fuel, and after it started great, then i pull out to the stop light and it just shuts off like i turned the key off. so i try to restart it amd it barly cranks and runs soo rough and will die if i dont give it gas. so i started to think bad feull. so i drained some and it appered fine, so i pullesd the codes, one was p1316 and the other p0603. so i didnt know what to do i was 150 miles form home and AAA will only tow my truck, so i had to pay to have my boat towed the rest of the way and my truck was droped off at ford. i havent herad anything form them yet so wanted to know what some of you thought. thanks
Im no tech on this but found this doing a search

Bad alternator? Since the motor was warm it was easy to start but that took the last out of the batteries. Next start was slow and since there was low power, the ICP and IPR would be affected which would affect fuel delivery. Just a theory. Hope it isn't anything major and is a quick and easy fix. Heck of a way to end a trip.
Surprises me AAA didn't tow the boat too. We broke down once heading camping. They towed us the remainder 30 miles with truck and 26' travel trailer in tow to our remote camping spot. He even offered to come back up if we didn't get if fixed over the weekend. I've had AAA ever since.
Is Ford going to fix it, or just give you an estimate? Pull the valve covers, plug the connector back in, add a shim and your problem is fixed. Don't know what Ford would charge to do this work. Probably sell you a new harness and a bunch of labor.
well ford called and said that there was gas mixed in with the diesel, and so it was trying to burn a mixture of feuls.. bad combo.. so they said $700 for a flush i have been on the phone with hess all morning and they deny that they could have mixed any they say they most likely wont cover the cost.. any one else experience this??????

WOW!! That is some serious problem. Did you ask the gas station attendant if there has been any othe complains from other customers? I hope you get it all worked out.
ford said they kept a sample but hess sys they have no proof that we didnt put gas in the lines just so they would cover the costs........ thery said thagt they have never had bad diesel at that station... they are being a real pain
I don't know how busy that station is, but try running back there and filling a 5 gallon can with their diesel, as a sample. Take it to the Ford dealer and have them diagnose it again. Worth a shot.
I would think you could drain your tank and flush it yourself a lot cheaper than $700. Bring it over here and I'll do it for $500!

Did you keep the reciept?
It will say what fuel, what pump, every detail.
