dvd systems

i was curious.......ive got a factory double din nav/dvd system from an 04 navigator, will it fit into my 04 f150?

Physically, yes, I believe it will, possibly with some slight mods. However, I doubt it will plug into your existing harnesses. You will need to get the harness diagrams for the radio and your truck to see what's what. You will also need to find out if the nav has an internal amp or if it used an external amp to send power to the speakers.

Obviously the nav functions won't work unless you also got the external nav module from the navigator.

i bought aftermarket you dont have the AUX jack so you wont be losing anything like i had to when i got mine.

hardest part is getting the right head unit! the single dins that pop out break in a year or so.
I bought a cheap o double din with a touch screen. the screen is touchy, without the remote it would be almost impossible to change channels.
the radio reception really sucks too.... really sucks...
