starter troubles
i have 2000 f-150 4x4 with 5.4 lt v8. now it started with click click click out of no where so i checked my bat. connections on both ends all 6 of them. now i got a rebuilt starter to put in but its been a month and i kinda stupidly forgot where a wire went and **** that i am i want to make shure where it goes. its the wire that comes from the alternator to the selenoid looking thing on the fire wall. my question is does it go on the top terminal or the bottom one with the black cap?

i just looked at my 2001. the alternator goes to the bottom terminal. also another big lug goes to the bottom terminal and runs straight up toward the windshield. the battery connects to both terminals on the other side. i dont see any wire on the top terminal above the alternator wire.---
