power steering or lack there of......

So my truck has bigger then normal tires but so does my jeep and it does not have this problem.

Problem: when I am at a stand still or slowly moving like 1 mph it is almost impossible to turn the steering wheel. And when I do it feels like I am going to break something.

Do you think the pump is no good? Any one else have this problem.

Its fairly common on the SD's, I wouldn't worry about it.

Check your fluid level, maybe do a flush. Your pump could be going out also.

Try bumping up the idle a bit and see if it makes a difference (high idle tune or hold your foot on the go pedal).
