Dealer is rightm you would need to change out the master cylinder or I think it is some sensors to get the TBC to work right.

Also very expensive I understand. Better off going to a RV place and having them throw one on using your existing wiring harness. They will know how.

The factory TBC does work great though if you really want to throw down some cash.

I'll probably just buy a $69.00 job and install it myself, I don't use it much anyway.

The Factory TBC is easy to install... anyone who says it isn't is lazy

The only thing you can't do yourself is turn the pram on in the computer.

There should be a plug that is dead-headded into the coin holder where the TBC would be if equipt. Take the coin holder out, and the plug that goes to the TBC will be attached.

Your truck should have come with an adapter that attaches to that plug. It will have four wires coming out of it. That is for an aftermarket controller, but you still have to locate the TBC harness.
