ok i ot an 86 f150 efi 5.0 w/dual tanks front tank causes all sorts of stumbling to the point itll almost die switch from front to rear and back itll sort of come back still will stumble run rear tank stumbles but not as bad any ideas??? does each tank have seperate fuel pump? could it be the valve for switching the tanks???? fuel filter looks relativly new (seen it looking down from under hood on drivers side frame rail)
also has i beleive overloads has one set of springs what looks to be aspacer then another set when you go over bumps the upper set hits the brackets on frame and clanks not big issue just annoying is there any rubbers or anything for them?

Yes, there are supposed to be rubber isolators on those brackets.
If you are hitting the overload springs by simply going over a bump, then your main spring pack is shot and sagging.
They only come into play when you have a heavy load in the bed.

there is a pump in each tank and i believe one in the frame.since you have only had the truck a short time is the tank your having trouble with have good fuel in it or stale fuel?that could be the problem. fuel can start to go stale in as little as 30 days(i have never seen this).but when did the po last put fuel in that tank?
