Injectors and injector pump
i have a 85 f250 with the 6.9 it has 90k miles and im wantin to change the injection pump and injectors for more power gains yet, i cant afford turbo so i decided to go this route first...any advice is great thanks

Is there any actual problem with how it runs right now? Unless you are sure the injection system is worn out, you are likely throwing money away. You would be better off saving up for a turbo kit (or a used kit).

jeez for the price of the IP and all eight injectors, you will be pretty close to the price of a used turbo. Either way though, are the injectors and ip original or newer? If they are original, you would do well to replace them. You are not going to get some kind of turbo boost by replacing those parts though, definitely more efficient however. Look around and you may be surprised to find some good used turbos. Just make sure that they have all the parts. if you go the IP and injector route, here is a good link for 35 dollar injectors.
