thru the floor brake pedal arm measurements, 53-55

apparently when I stripped the 54 before blasting 2 yrs ago, I tossed the whole brake pedal/master assembly.

we are using a chevy version from TCI on our custom chassis to minimize the length of the assembly.. (the MF bracket makes the whole arm/booster/master length about 26 inches!)

can someone tell me how long the brake pedal arm is from pivot to turn
and from turn to brake pedal pad,

thanks..

Hold that thought. Since the clutch and brake arms are the same, dimensionally, I'll go out and measure the one onthe Big Job. BTW, they are the same from F-100 thru F-800 also, so its measurements will be good.

Ok, I'm back. I measured, from the center of the pivot, to the first radius, 5". From the first radius to the radius right outside the toe-board, 9.5". From the radius right outside the toe-board, to the pedal, 8". I didn't measure the little bend where the arm hits the pedal stop bumper, I just measures in straight lengths: pivot to raidus, radius to radius, radius to pedal mount spot. The clutch pedal, and brake pedal are different, at the pivot mounting end, but the bends, and measurements should be good for what you need.

interesting.. , thank you

on this thing its
2.5 from pivot center to first radius
10 to the outside of the turn up to the pedal
8 inches to the pedal mount..

so the second 2 are close.

Pretty close.....So it must be mounted forward of the stock location. It has power brakes? That would explain the length difference.

remounted the cab to the chassis this morning, and looks like I only need a little unbend of the first turn to make it work.. crap, ran out of oxy!.. SO, it'll have to wait for a trip to town again..

how much clearance is there between the arm and the cab with no pressure on the pedal? 1/2 to 1 in?
