Well I've been a member for a long time but haven't been real active. I think that may change with my new acquisition. Last week in a moment of weakness I got nostalgic and decided to reunite with my old high school flame. She's not the exact truck, I had a 85 F250 Reg cab Custom with a 300 and a 4 speed. This "New" truck is a 86 Lariat with a 460 and an auto. I always wanted a big block
As you can see the list is long of parts needed. I plan on making it look respectable right now and throwing on some cheap paint since I don't have a lot of cash to throw at her. Right now for sure I need a box and tailgate if anyone has leads on them. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
How come my location doesn't show up in the corner???
you have to put it there, go to left corner and click on usercp, and set it up. that button is also a quick way to keep up with the threads you've posted on.
Tonight I picked up a new carb. Brand new never had gas in it Street Avenger 670, with fuel line, pressure gauge, spacer and kickdown. I almost feel bad putting something this nice on this truck!!! I really appreciate people who are willing to barter.
Flagged down a couple of junkers in the neighborhood and told them they could have the box if they took it off. It wasn't easy, especially with a hefty old gooseneck ball and plate. And it was all rusty as hell!
Your bed didn't look that bad...until I saw it laying on it's side and realized how wavy it was. You have a lead on another bed or are you going the flatbed route?

Yea I needed both bed sides. The drivers was rusted through all over the wheel well and the Passenger, well you saw.
I've got a truckload of rust free parts coming from Texas! Another big score, the guys prices were really good. Obviously shipping makes it less of a deal, but I got lucky and piggy backed on another load coming this direction.
So I've got a bed and tailgate, both complete lariat doors and front fenders. Didn't need both doors or the fenders but his prices were so good I took everything since it all come off the same truck. I'll have pics on Friday.
