Recently I've began to question my fixaction on a '56, and have been playing with earlier years. The stock '53-55 to me, personally, looked a little off in the cab seemed too short, or the roof at least. When they've been chopped (and thus longer roof) I've liked them a lot better. And I've espcially loved what they look like with a custom visor (Points finger at mt54 the steals his picture)
Thats just so much better balanced to me than stock.
And I'm also starting to like the '52 and earlier as well a lot more, they have more fender so to speak.
So I am curious to see different cab mods. Changing the cab in little ways seems to completely change the truck more than anything else, and I'm playing with my options and if I can see something that I like more than a stock '56, I have a new, and in my location, easier route
I really like what they have done with this 57 cab. they cut out about 1-2 inches above the windsheild, sectioned 2 inches above the body line too along with a bunch more. http://image.classictrucks.com/f/837...f100+front.jpg
I'm going to shave mine...part because my rails are all bent/rusted and part because I think it looks very clean and cool! I have your album saved for when I do mine.
I think I may round off the top corner of the door too.
