NP435/NP208 conversion

NP435/NP208 conversion
I was just wondering if anyone has done a conversion like this? The tranny came with a Dana 21 trans. case hooked on the back but I want the low range of the NP208. My current setup is in an 86' F-150 4wdwith the T&C O.D. tranny and the NP208 transfer case. My local ford dealer said the extension housing (ford calls it that) is no longer available and if it was it would cost approx. $650. Advance adapters does not list anything , they say it is still avail. from ford. My next step is to scour the boneyards.
