San Antonio Area??
We are considering transferring to San Antonio next year. Can anyone give me some first-hand information on the school system there? We are specifically interested in school district #20 (Bexar county). We would hope to live on the SW side of town or a few miles out of town.
Even though the school system is our primary concern, any other information would be welcomed as well.

I was down there for Air Force BMT. I made a vow that as soon as I could get out of San Antonio I would...even if I had to be stationed in Alaska... July & August was miserable... Don't mean to discourage you, but I hated San Antionio because of the humidity... I'm a no humidity kinda guy...

In the meantime, we need to get away from MD.
We will be stationed at Lackland AFB. We dont mind a short commute (less than a 1.2 hour).
