Instrument Panel
Looking for some input here, drove my truck, 2002 F-350 Diesel 7.3 powerstroke, down my driveway all was fine, stop started it backup and no instrument panel gauges work, the accelerator pedal does not work truck starts and idles fine, radio and clock work. Checked all fuses that relate to instrument panel, 4x4, fuse were good. Does anybody have any input as to what be going on here.

However, I have your answer, so I'll hook ya up.
The problem is a 3 wire cluster under your steering column cover. This is a very common problem on the superdutys. Take the plastic cover off the column. Should be a couple of screws from the bottom side. Once that's off, you will see a secton of wire running from the left side over the top of the column. It's got three wires in it. Inspect these real carefully. You will most likely find a spot where they got chaifed and shorted. Just cut, splice, heat shrink it, or worst case, electrical tape it up. Either way, you know what you need to do from there. Then some small wire loom covering should prevent it from happening again.
