E4OD SLIPPING FROM STOP
Hello,
I bought a 91 F150 and my transmission (E4OD) is slipping when I take off from a stop. Plus, when shifting into drive, I can notice it does not grab immediatly, but slowly slips into drive. While in Low 1, it grabs fine. Fluid is fine. Possibly been since 98 for fluid change. 160,000+ miles. Any suggestions? Do you think a fluid change might be the remedy?
