jump start battery polarity error

Your battery is also a bit toasted/dead. A fully charged 12 battery should sit at 12.6 volts with the vehicle off.

If the fuse really is ok, then the diodes blew & thus protected the fuse!!!! lol

there were fuse links (100 A) in alternator kl.30 wire on old trucks, but.... fuse link reacts too slow, and diodes blow first.... LOL.... and as result we had blown fuse and toasted diodes..... LOL
