Harley Davidson Excursion - Need some advice please
I am alost done with my Harley Davidson version of my Excursion and I have a few questions:
1. I am trying to figure out which emblem to use on the front quarter panels. I am contemplating this one:
since the other ones have F-150,F-250 etc. which I don't want. Ideas anyone?
2. I don't see myself using the Ford blue oval on the rear right door. I am thinking just sticking an "X" there. Any input?
3. I would like to boost it. It had a Paxton when I bought it, but I want to go turbo instead. Any turbo kits available? There is so much space underneath so really condusive to a STS type rear mounted. Ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance,
BTW Photos of what my vehicle looks like (Except for having 325/60s on it now instead of the 275/65 on the photos):
If anyone is interested, I'll get back with a full build specification later on.
I bought an EX-NBA player's Canepa designed Excursion a few months ago. He put some serious cash into the vehicle (125k according to the spec sheet). I bought it for next to nothing and tore everything out. I sold the blower, Canepa seats, 37" tires, and all the other aftermarket parts.
The car was in nice mechanical condition only having 50,000 miles on the odometer. It was also sprayed internally with a rhino liner so no sound proofing was required.
I installed:
Harley seats all the way through,
Custom door panels,
Custom headliner,
Custom carpet,
Custom amp rack with sub,
Alpine touch screen,
WD media jukebox,
Tow mirrors,
Iron Bull bumpers,
Warn 12,500lb winch,
Cowl hood,
PIAA light,
Back up lights,
LED tail lights,
Projector/LED/HID head lights.
Found a set of 20" Harley rims, 35" Toyo ATs.
Added the silver black paint with pinstriping to emulate the HD look.
I have a few things left like
Fender trim installation,
Keyless ignition,
Harley floor mats,
Emblems (reason for my question here).
I am also contemplating a little bit more power, but that is about it.
