Hi guys, I think this is the right forum for this. Im doing a few things in my dads 2005 F350 PSD. I bought him a sirius sat radio. He has the 6-cd changer, I noticed it has an AUX button. Is there a port/plug in for a aux cable, I got one with the sirius but I dont know if the radio has a port. Do I need to pull the radio out ro get to it?
The sirius works great, just getting alot of fm crossover.
The actual install is not very complicated. It takes a little bit of twisting and turning to get the dash out but be patient. One of the hardest parts of mine was trying to disconnect all of the plugs to the accessories, headlights, etc. when taking it out. If I remember correctly, the bolt for the stereo is a 7mm also so if you've got a 7mm nutdriver handy, it'll speed things along. Here is a link to the process from the SD tech folder in the new Audio / Navigation folder:
I wired my Sirius recently too and had to fabricate my own adapter and wiring for the FM modulator. I'm going to get a P.I.E. adapter soon though and install it.
