C6 Front Pump

how hard is it to replace the front pump for a C6 tranny
i have the front pump I just need to know what to look for in the problems i may run in to i havent work on it befor

They are not hard to replace. Tell why you are replacing it.

C6 Front Pump

If you aren't careful, the gear packs inside will disengage. I'd recommend doing this with the tranny standing on end (supported on case, not output shaft). If the pump doesn't slide in relatively easy, stop and look for reason why.

Also make sure you get three "clicks" when you reinstall your torque converter.

I learned this the hard way.
