OK, a new problem to ponder

Never seen this problem posted before. After bragging just the other day about how smooth my new sticks install went I finaly got to drive it last night late for the air purge deal. Got a block away from the shop and as I gave it the throttle from a stop sign I had nothing but idle and the wait to start light came on then went out. A second throttle application everything was OK and off I went. Did it twice again as I went through town and decided to take it back the shop as it was midnight and didnt want to get stranded, LOL. This morning I changed the oil and fuiel filters, cleaned the fuel pressure regulator screen (was coated with crap) and shimmed the fuel pressure up from 55 to 70 PSI. It is getting better as I drive it I figgure air right? But whats with the wait to start light coming on when it looses throttle response? I cleaned the peddle plugs this morning too. When I loose the throttle responce the tach still reads correctly. Thanks guys, I am out for another drive

I haven't replaced the injectors so I have no clue.

I have heard others state that it could 50+ miles or so before the air is completly purged.

Maybe it is an air problem.

Mine was very hard to start after the injectors but when it ran it never died. Stayed hard to start for quite a while but finally cleared up. Can't help you with the WTS light, don't know.

Sounds like a sticking IVS.
Flush it out with contact cleaner.
