I'm looking for advice for a carb rebuild kit for my 1961 with 223 and Holley carb. A lot of the kits I've gotten in the past are very generic (covering lots of different carbs) and was wanting some suggestions. I was looking at Dennis Carpenter and LMC and don't see anything that would work.
Most carb kits do have extra parts due to their broad application usage...a perfect application is the autolite 2100 used on mine, and umpteen other engines with 2 barrel carbs up through the mid 70s on cars and trucks...
As far as your carburetorThe ID number is on its main body. It should read something like a C1TE-AL (AAT1EA)
" - V (AAT1AA)
" - Y (AAT1BA)
" - Z (HAT1HA)
" - AC (HAT1AA)
" - AD (HAT1BA)
These are ALL used in 58-61 F100-600, B500/600, and1961 P100-500(before ID# 140,001) with manual trans.
