Radiator capacity question

Hi Guys,

My rad has the following numbers on it:
C6TA-AE2
PHO 66 11

Can anyone tell me what these numbers mean?

What is it's capacity?

This is in my 1967 M100, straight six.

Thanks,

John

FoMoCo ID number: C6TA-AE2 = Ford part number: C6TZ-8005-E

Original applications: 1966 F100/250 352 2WD with S/T or A/T / 1967 F100/250 352 2WD with A/T.

PHO is most likely the manufacturers code, as Ford did not make their own radiators. They were bought from suppliers like Harrison.

66 11 is prolly November 1966, when the radiator was made.

The radiator's capacity is not listed in the parts catalog.

btw: 1966/67 F100/250 240 I-6.

ID number: C6TA-AD = Ford part number: C6TZ-8005-F / Use with S/T.

ID number: C6TA-AV = Ford part number: C5TZ-8005-Y / Use with A/T.

NumberDummy,

Thank you for the information. I forgot to mention this engine is not the original. At some point the PO took out the 352 V8 and dropped an a straight 6. He also removed the column shift 3 speed, and dropped in a 4 speed. I don't think he changed the rad, as it appears to be original.

Appreciate all the help,

John
