1995 e4od ???

Found an e4od on craigslist that came out of a 95 e350 psd one will a tranny out of an e350 fit and two this guy says it will onl fit a 95-96? I've never heard of that before but is it true?

as far as I know it should fit any OBS powerstroke that came with a E40D... but don't know much about the vans...

One thing to remember is the older the trans is,
the less updated parts it may have. (if oem)
Your 1,2 below
1- Fit what?
2- 2 different output shaft setups in the E-series transmissions.
Depends on if its a SRW or a DRW.
You also have to lookout for the DTRS. (ana vs digi)

Ok thanks for the help. But I called the guy to find out more about it and the a$$wipe sold it. Back to the search I go.
