I posted a question a while back, I want to replace the T&C O.D. tranny in my 86 F150 with a NP435 ,but I need the adapter between the tranny and transfer case . My present transfercase is the NP208,which I would like to keep. Anyone out there with any info. for me? Bill

There are plenty of trucks and bronco's from '80 to your trucks year with the Np-435 and the Np-208. plenty of donors for the parts you need. The only pontential problem is you might need the input shaft out of the np-208/np-435 truck. but then again if your finding a donor just swap out the whole assembly. Grab the tranny cover from the floor board as the shifter might poke through at diffferent spot.Good luck.
