secondary spring selection
Hey everyone. I have a 75F250 460ci with a holley 1460 600cfm carb. My camper weighs in at 5300lbs what color secondary spring do you folks use that works the best. I have the spring kit with all the different colored springs. cant find instructions. I know how to put the secondary spring in, just not sure wich is the right stiffness. my truck is stock everything except a mild rv cam. edelbrock performer intake. thank you.

Is it the stock carb or and after market? If it is the stock carb, it isn't a 4160. If it is an after market carb, I went 1 spring heavier for my 1984 F-250 Super Cab, Super Duty, 460 with C-6 and 4.10 rear gears used for my camper, boat, and flat bed trailer with quads on it. That would be the brown spring, which is the medium heavy spring. The plain spring was in my List 1850, 600 CFM carb.
