just got custom tuned
i must say i am very impressed with my custom tunes that i have recived, am running the tow power,its ruffly 75 hp and the things i like are definetly the shifting and the low egts i never seen over 1100 in full throttle, with my bully dog i would have to back out of it all the time, also no smoke either,but one thing is when i hammerone it my truck sounds way diffrent with custom tunes in than with my bully dog in it seem kinda wierd, but all in all its seem like a way better programmer, ill keep u guys posted how the truck runs, seens its my first day with the custom tunes installed

What kind of tuner did you get? Where did you get the programs? I am in the middle of trying to figure out what to do with this also and some help from someone who has been there would be great! Do you have other mods as well?

x2. Ive tried just about every tune out there, cookie cutter to full custom dyno tunes. Erics at innovative has by FAR been the best and its what I currently run and will continue to run.

Great customer service and product.. Eric's service after the sale is top notch..His tunes make awesome power and the shifting is spot on.. I have 7 different tunes from him and don't dislike any of them..

Im not saying his "is" the best, Im just saying its worked best for me. Best drivability, best performance, best transmission function, and best of all my heads havent lifted off the block and my injectors are living...Plus the great customer service is second to none.

no i didnt get any insanity files due to i am none studded and i still have the egr in place, Elite diesel told be to delete the egr, and i think i might do it but then im gonna have to get new tunes for the egr delete kit

Eric's tunes are excellent and their customer service is superior. You can actually speak to a human being when you call and they'll also return your call in a timely manner. Got my tunes within 24 hours.
I had DJ's tunes originally but they're out of business. DJ's tow tune is/was good. Amazing power but the shifting wasn't as good as Eric's.
Never could get a response from Spartan and it seems they've been more focused on the 6.4 anyway.
If I keep this truck the Xcal2/Innovative tunes are going back in and the EGR cooler will disappear when the warranty ends. Running stock is frustrating! Turbo lag, poor mileage, lack of towing power, etc.... it's getting old.
