A sure fire way to know is to barrow 1 from another truck and plug it in. Also, you can take it off and shake it! if it has water in it, it is not good.
When mine went out I went to the junkyard and found a couple in some old ambulances. 3 of them had water in them and 4th one did not. $50 later I was on the road again.

This was about 2 years ago. I can check to see if they have anymore. They come and go quickly (I would imagine). I will check this week if they have any and let you know. I will PM you with the results.
