Universal bosch relay pt# needed

Long ago I used to be a parts tech for a local foreign car dealership. We used to carry a relay made by bosch that was good for just about anything. It was rated for 30A and had 4 terminals. It was very cheap too. I need these for a project that requires several relays and I'd like to use the ole bosch style relays so if and when one burns out I can just swap em around to get home or even throw one in the glove box. Anyway I went to couple of my auto parts store, the young fellas there can't locate one without a valid interchange part number or specific vehicle application. Any of you guys know the bosch number or a specific VW application that you can give me? Thanks.

I've purchased generic Bosch relays from both www.delcity.net and www.waytekwire.com several years ago. Even if you don't order from either of those places, you should be able to get a part number.

Go to Autozone and tell them to plug in "MR12". That's a universal 5 terminal relay. The extra terminal will give you a normally closed contact if you happen to need it.
