Oh Crap...New Problem...

Well FTE family...I replaced the o-rings for the HPOP, and the fuel line washers...I got everything buttoned up, filled the oil reservior, primed the fuel bowl, NO LEAKS...yay...I installed my freshly painted ICP tubes...duct taped the air filter hoses until Clay comes through...fired Bit Mo' up and she ran great, a little quieter since the air filter hoses aren't leaking now...hehehe...went for my test drive....rode around the neighborhood for a few minutes without any problems...ventured out to fill her up...throttled her up to 2800 rpm, changed to second...again to 2800 rpm....

and POP went something....turned around and came home...now, she will not throttle past 2500 rpm and has no guts...she seems like the turbo is not kicking in...the engine is running super smooth at idle and through normal conditions, but when you give her the go-go juice, she gets to 2500 and starts spitting and sputtering....

any ideas?????????????????

need more help............

David

Check to see if you blew one of the boots off of the intercooler/intake pipes.

Installing my WW...my heart literally was in my throat. 500 feet away on a test drive the downpipe came loose and made an awful noise. I pulled over right away and thought I had blown something up. My buddy didnt have enough azz to tighten it enough.

Never had a boot pop off though...yet...

I know that feeling. I got the same one yesterday when I saw that river of oil pouring out under my truck.
