Yes... most important step is to drink a beer upon completion!!!! This is one step they don't list on the instruction sheet!!!

I bet the largew HFCM filter cap is not seated properly... just unscrew, check filter, cap and O-ring (lube the O-ring with fresh oil - not diesel fuel) and replace... just tighten until the plastic cap is fully seated and you can't tighten it any more.
