hellwig confusion

So i called jcwhitney today to order a rear sway bar for my '05 PSD X and they claim that they do not carry this product. I'm sure that others have gotten this product through jcwhitney. Am i correct in this?
If someone has purchased this product, could you shoot me a part number? I talked to two representatives and they both claim to not carry this product.

Thanks. I'll try that. I'm getting a little tired of parts people who don't know their stuff. In the age of the internet it's best to come prepared.

Cool! It's a great and "must-do" mod.

I'm really looking forward to it. My X has no bar right now so this will be a huge improvement. I had talked to a wrecker and he had an 1 1/4 sway bar off of a F250 suspension but i started thinking about everything that I might have to do to make that work and decided to spend the extra $200 for the Hellwig.
Like so many other people who are doing suspension mods on FTE right now, my parts will probably show up the day after I leave for vacation.

Be aware that it might not fit quite right, at least mine didn't. Had to take it into the shop where he had the tools to tweek it a little. Made a big difference in towing afterwards though.

Thanks for the info Rushmore X. Hopefully there is no tweaking involved. That would make life a whole lot easier.
I see you have a MBRP exhaust. Is that cat back or turbo? Did you notice a large performance improvement? That one is next on my list.

Tweaking ???

I've bought 2 for 2 Ex's and although that's not a large basis, no tweaking needed .

Guess you were just the lucky one!!!!

(or your installer forced it into the wrong holes Oops )

I'm in Edmonton too. Ordered front and rear through JC and got great service from JC. (The front anti-SB was beefier than the original.)

Yeah wallz, I ordered through jc. When i called back with the part # which Monsta gave me they said it was in stock and ready to ship. I didn't ask if the bar was itemized as an excursion part or not. It could have been listed as a F series upgrade for all I know. The price was $275 cdn to my door. The cheapest I could find locally was $325 and it was 3 hrs away.

Turbo back. I think it did make a difference, but I put in a DP chip at the same time. If you chip, you'll need to do it anyway. Jody's chip does make a difference, and I've about 40,000 miles on it without a problem...

My goal is to get whatever performance I can out of the truck without a tuner. I don't want to take it to the level where the head gaskets take a vacation. I was able to put out the funds for the diesel (which I really wanted) but that makes the wallet light for awhile.

I ordered my hellwig swaybar from JC Whitney in April and got it about a week and a half later. The only problem with it was that the U bolts in the kit are 1/2" and the holes in the plate they go through were 7/16". I thought about drilling them out but decided instead to call Hellwig and they had a new set of plates at my door in another week.
