Turbo lag
My '05 6.0L cc seems to take forever to accelerate from 0. It seems much slower than my brother 7.3L. It doesn't seem to get going until turbo psi is about 15. Is this normal and if so how do I correct it.

Best way is to get a SCT tuner from Innovative 
The throttle response is Whew !!!!
Turbo lag is somewhat the nature of the beast....
you have to have exhaust pressure to get boost, and you can't get much boost until you have exhaust and etc... etc...
either you will get 'used to it' and allow for it (maybe even with a bit of boosting with brake applied) or tune it....
Unless your brother's is tuned or something is wrong with yours, it will not be slower....
