Headbolts?

so, i don't want to go and buy new headbolts if i don't have to. can u reuse the headbolts on a 351m?

Yes, you can reuse headbolts. It's rodbolts you should be concerned with re-using.

They say not to reuse head bolts if you have aluminum heads, but like said by bullet390, for your cast iron heads they will be fine.

Never heard that my entire life. It's "torque-to-yield" or angle torqued headbolts you cannot reuse. So possibly an aluminum engine had those style bolts you are referring to.

6.0L Powerstrokes have TTY headbolts.
