I'm planning on painting my Bronco in the next couple of weeks. I've only sprayed my Bronco with epoxy primer, I've never sprayed real paint. I was wondering if you guys know of any informative websites I could check to learn as much as I can about painting my bronco?
Although I hardly other post there, autobody101.com seems pretty good. I post on hotrodders.com quite a bit, and there is a lot of good past information on there you can find in a search, but it has really gone downhill imo in the past year or two, and many knowledgeable members have left. Many of them now are on spi.forumup.org.
Although its mainly about use of southern polyurethanes products, they have no problems with answering questions about or someone using other products. The owner of the company also post their often. Even though there isn't always a lot of replys to questions, its a good place to get advice on how to do things correctly and the best products from professionals, without bickering or ending up getting advice from someone who once painted his riceburner with a roller and rustoleum, and all of a sudden hes an expert.
There is some pretty knowledgeable people right here as well, although the other sites listed as well as autobody store grumpy listed, probably have a wider range of topics and replys, as these forums are completely about body and paint related topics.
