my lighting is pulsing, nothing is dim, no battery lights, all lighting works. any ideas???? this is the last of my bugs to get worked out on my project.
yep, sounds like alternator like Ray said. I'd check it with a mulitmeter to see if the needle swings in time with your lights pulsing. Does it go away as you rev the engine?
I had something similar happen but not exactly. Do check your alternator output and preferably with a analog volt meter as a digital might not show the swing fast enough to show you about how much you're swinging but clean ALL your battery terminals.
I took my truck in one time to have some work done on it and the mechanic there thought I might have an alarm system because when he pulled one of the batteries the lights started to turn off and on because the other battery's terminals had become dirty and were making very poor electrical contact.
