Wont Start

I pulled my truck home from college last year cause it died on me on the way up to MN from IN and I didnt have the ability to fix it at school. I was working 120hrs a week last summer so I did not have a chance to take a look at her last summer. I drove her down to the barn last year when I got her home and put her in there. I started to pull her apart to do body work to her last year and got a little done. (Fenders, Hood, Tailgate, One Door all sanded down) However, I went to go and try to start her this year so that I could do a compression test and I got nothing. I try to turn the key so I can crank over the motor and I have nothing. I tried to jumper the soleniod and I still get nothing. I went to run a power wire strait to the starter and still have nothing. Any ideas as to what is wrong would be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Stupid question, but did you check, charge or replace your battery?

There should be a ground wire from the motor to the frame as well. You may want to remove your starter and get it tested.

Thats what I have. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my other message. It just strikes me as weird that I would have been able to drive it in abd have never had a problem prior to this but I guess that's probably the next logical step. Thanks guys.
