Engine ID--help

Hi i picked up a 72 f100 for free and it is supposed to have 351c..Are the casting numbers behind the starter?..Here are some pics.I believe 351c2v. hers a link http://s669.photobucket.com/albums/v...newtonproject/

Looks like a cleveland to me but its kind of hard to tell from the pics. The numbers should be on a small flat spot at the lower rear of the bock, best seen from underneath the truck, can't remember if its on the driver or passenger side, could be behind the starter.

It's on the passenger side on 351m/400.

the water neck seams to be on a taller surface than the dizzy and the engine looks wider than a C, so im betting on a 351m-400

Thanks for the replies...I pulled the valve covers off this morning and the engine is full of water..So looking for another one...
