why in the 09 threads, 09's dont have a v6. but to help you out, my brother has an 05 single cab 4.2. he has my old sct xcal 2 tuner on it. it woke it up a little, but its still a 6. he tried racing me this morning on the way to work. i pulled on him everytime until i hit my limiter, then he passed me.
you guys are seriously driving way too damn fast in a pickup

depends on how deep the Dealership investigates the PCM
a programmer leaves a code in the PCM. It's the code that shows when you connect a Code Reader to the OBD-II port.
So you could say that you tried reading codes.
on the other hand, there is a little bit of memory concerning the trucks operating parameters. You run around on say Level III tunes...then switch to Stock tunes...the Level III evidence will still be there.
so that would be direct evidence you were messing with the PCM.
but it is in-depth and not exactly fast or easy to get to
the programmer i have always used for ford is SCT. they specialize mainly in ford. i never had a problem with ford finding the sct as long as i returned it back to stock. the great thing about the sct over other brands for ford is sct doesnt leave in cookies behind, i took a 3 week class on the sct flash devices. we did a lot of tuning on 02-04 mustangs.
and tylus, i agree with you, that is way to fast to be going in a truck and i really dont have any good excuse for doing it other than i wanted to see what it would do. i was waiting for someone to say something about goin to fast.
I didn't say I wanted to go 118MPH in a pickup truck. I did say that something above 95 would be nice. It's not good when you travel on lots of two-lane 65-70MPH roads and need to pass a truck and travel trailer or farm equipment moving slowly (maybe 45-55) and hit the limiter while trying to make a pass.
still 90 something is a little much to pass a slow moving vechile which you described, none the less if they are going 55 on a two lane road,it is about 9 outta 10 times the speed limit on a two lane road anyways , then here comes an 09 f150 blazing on the wrong side of the road doing 90 something......which is wreckless driving i would assume........real safe bro, real safe.......
