Is it just me or is it a pain that the overhead console lighting aims to the sides (driver and passenger)? It leaves the center console especially the massive (thank goodness) armrest cubby completely in the dark
Is this the same for those who have the sunroof (different light location)?
Now I'm researching aftermarket accessories to provide some middle lighting. If I wanted to spend the $, those cool neon lights would do the trick on the center console or in the armrest cubby. They only had to add 1 more light
Same with the moonroof,my 98 was better, but I really like the way the lights dim out when you hit the remote lock button.Played with that for 20 minutes last night and impressed all the neighbors. Did anybody's come with an underhood light,I can't find one in my new E.B.? Also noticed new owners manual is nowhere near as good as the 98's.Also no A4WD indicator, just 4WD HI&4WD LO.They got stingy(cheap)in a couple places I guess.Still love the 03 though, much better truck.
>Did anybody's come with an underhood light,I can't find one in my new E.B.?
Mine did -- attached to the underside of the hood about a foot forward/inward from the left hood hinge. Don't know if it makes a difference, but mine is an Eddie Bauer.
'03 EB with almost everything, but no underhood light. With the moonroof, the lights are aimed right at the steering wheel on drivers' side. Much brighter when pushed 'on' then when lit from opening doors. Same for passenger side.
