Ok I was doing something else and noticed this vacumm line loose. I checked Alldata Vacumm hos diagram and it does not show it is part of the Emission system at all.
Please help.
1990 F250 2wd 7.5l 460 Pass side engine compartment
As far as I know, that's a vacuum distribution block mounted up behind the AC hose. The larger line is vacuum source from the engine. It should be connected to the vacuum fitting on the intake manifold. The small line is the vacuum source to the Heating/AC system. The square box that the small line is running to is a vacuum reservois for the Heater/AC system.
Is there more that 2 vacumm fittings on the upper Intake manifold... I only remember seeing 2. 1 for the PCV valve hose (bottom plug) and 1 for the Map sensor (top plug). But I believe you are right about the rest though..
That did it.. I couldnt see behind there so I followed the Brake booster line and kinda felt around and found what felt to be where the line went... Right size and everything.. Line went on great..
Must have knocked it off without realizing when I pulled the Upper Intake off while replacing the Injectors... Now time to wait for my stupid ECM to get rid of these 2 (Mainly 1) ghost trouble codes (Error 41 and 56) all wires checked out Ok and still happens when forcing the truck to run rich.
