What are reps?

Dumb question, I'm sure. But I see you guys saying things like "reps sent", "no reps to send", and "someone rep so and so". What in the world are you talking about? Maybe my username should be Clueless

Look on the top right of a post, you will see a heart. Click on the heart and a screen will drop down, you can wright a little note and then click (add reputation).

I was confuded about reps 2 at first
When I came to fte i was on the 1948 - 1960 forum and those guys don't use reps
They also don't put many pics in threads ...mostly in gallery

So how do I know when I have been reped? Or when others have been? And is there a limited number?

Look at your user cp on the upper left hand corner and click on it and it will tell you when and who repped you.... also if you rep some one to much even though they are deserving the rep police will stop you and make you spread it around some so we ask others to rep for us......
