I have the 2001 4x4 Offroad package (same as fx4) super crew. Everyone i asked sai d it comes higher than standard 4x4. I tossed on a 3" body lift and can get a good deal on 37" tires. i was wondering if with just that 3" lift, should i be able to fit 37's? I cant find a good set of used 35's. thanks in advanced.
i'm pretty sure there isn't enough room under there and you'll be rubbing...a lot. I say this because my brother has a 99 super duty with a 4 or 6 inches of total lift and he rubs on his 37's
true his tires aren't the narrowest of things but putting tires that big on a 150 is going to put your hubs, steering, and suspension components through hell.
Mine rubs with 35's on a 3" suspension, only when i cut it all the way. Its a 97 f250. I thought of bumping up to 37's here soon with the current setup....thoughts?
I have a 3 inch body lift on my 02 fx4 with the torsion bars cranked with 35s and i have quite a bit of room, u may be able to fit 37s if you cut some of the bumper away and possible the inner fender on the back but i would say your gonna have a tuff time fittings them, plus with the added wear & tear and the power loss, i would say to just stick with 35's. Or get a suspension lift on top of the body lift.
Good looking truck, I know these 35's have played hell on my front end. Just replaced it all with Moog components minus the lower ball joints, Had to go OEM on those. Couldn't get Moog's to fit in which I'm upset about. I don't imagine them 37's being any worse than my 35's...I think i'll buy em!
what size whels did you have for that truck im thinking about buying 16x8 wheels but i dont want to be limited in case i want to goto 37's later im going to be changing the gears so im not worried about power loss i will soon have a fabtech 71/2 lift

Yeah, Ive seen a few people do a 3" body and either crank the **** outta the torsion bars or get new torsion keys and not rub. However if it does rub a little snip here and there on the bumper or inner fender well never hurt.
