I spent the weekend working on my neighbors truck. He said it was running really bad, so I decided to try and help. Here's what I found. I pulled 7 codes as well. 1280, 1393,1391,0603,1211,1316,1000.
Now If I can figure this out I'll post some pictures as to what I found once I got started. Have'n trouble tryin to post pic's here. Sorry. I'll try agian. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/a...p?albumid=2132
Now that's ugly. I bet the truck runs better now. Now he just needs to rebuild the turbo and hope the engine isn't dusted. Did you happen to check for blowby?
Thanks for the rep pionts and all guys. I thought you'd get a kick out of the dusted Turbo, HAH HAH HA...Well I haven't checked for blowby as of yet. He needed the truck for work this morning, so I did what I could and put it back together. I made him a list of repairs which includs removing the IC to get the birds nest out from between the Rad & IC and replacing the Trans Cooler as well. The trans cooler is bashed in so bad from a small front fender bender, that It can't possibly be circulating any fluid. But it looks like it the majority of the hit. It still needs an ICP, and I think a GPR and if you could believe, it ran so much better after reconnecting the UVHC. But I have to say my friend/Neighbor isn't very good on maintenance thing Thanks agian guys.ON Edit, It's kinda funny how I put rags in the two open intakes to keep crap from getting in while I made the repairs.
