HELP!!!!

I am installing an inline filter to a E40D trans. Which of the two cooling line is the return line. The tranny is in a 99 F250 PSD.

HELP!!!!

According to the shop manual the rear tube is the "inlet" Strange terminology, but I assume that means "return." The front tube is the "outlet"

That's correct.The fitting at the front is the pressure to the cooler and the return is the fitting towards the rear..
