Thank you to everyone I met and spoke to at the show this weekend. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I'm sure I spoke with many of you, but not sure what FTE usernames went with which faces. Me, my wife, my big blue car hauler, and my little vicious 8 lb attack maltese "ABBY" all made it back home without incident. We rolled in the driveway at home at 2:45 am this morning. We went 420 miles in 7 and a half hours. My eyes were starting to go crossed while looking forward in the dark empty highway dodging deer the entire trip before we got home. Oh, by the way, I am very sorry if Abby barked at any of you at the show. She's a little protective, mixed with a little bad manners. Anyway, thanks again for the hospitality and I hope everyone else made it home safe and sound with your family, your friends, and your truck as well.
I wish I had thought to ask everyone I talked to if they were a FTE member, and if so what their username was. That was my first time there, so I will remember to ask next year when I come back.
How about some blank nametags being posted on the site before next years event with maybe an FTE logo or something. Everyone print them off and fill in their screen name and given name. Knowing who is who would be wonderful.
Hey Old Uhaul! I think we're goin to have to ban you "yankee's" next year, you won too many good prizes " just kidding" we love your truck, look forward to seein ya next year
Scott, your hauler is a beautiful piece of work, couldn't pass by without admiring it, alot of us had some shirts made up and put FTE on the chest or the sleeve and it worked, I think there was like 18 that I had the pleasure to meet. Can't wait till next year, my grandaughter, the cutie riding around on MY cooler has already been telling me things she wants to do mext year, I had very little cooler time thanks to her. We left at 1030 and home at 330 with one fuel stop and a couple of potty stops (325 miles), see ya next year, Garry
Gerry you better get some coolers before next year...If I could get my green truck there you would just need one cooler...But I might not get my truck back
Homade, I saw the girl riding around on that cooler several times. I want one of those coolers. Where did you get it, or did you build it? I also want one of those golf cart bodies too.
Scott I enjoyed talking with you and your wife on Saturday. I also appreciate your willingness to share all the detailed information about your build... saving many many hours and headaches. You can expect a few emails as I review the notes I took.
Scottm1, I know what you mean about the golf cart but man the kit is over 8,000 dollars, a little steap for me. The cooler, you can find on-line at Cruzin cooler. com, that is the 5000 series and when I got it they were 500 dollars, it's a good cooler, ice it down today and still have ice in the morning and around at the shows just charge at night and it last all day, Garry
