Hi y'all, it's me again... I was thinking about swapping an NP435 for the M50D in my '89. I searched this topic and found the thread where Lanero and Eddie were discussing how they accomplished this feat. I have a question that was not addressed in their thread...will my stock BW-1356 bolt up behind the NP435, or will I have to get another transfer case when I find the transmission? There is nothing wrong with the 1356, it's just that for the price of a rebuilt M50D, I could have a heavy-duty tranny that was made to be in a full-size truck. thanks for everyones help

The 2 biggest things that I ran into were crossmember and drive shaft length.
